We realize that each client’s home is unique and therefore, requires a slightly different cleaning regime that may change over time. Kathleen’s Cleaning Service works hard to provide the highest quality cleaning services available. Our professionally trained cleaning technicians specialize in residential cleaning services, commercial cleaning, home sale and organization, move in/move out cleanings and special events clean up. We offer weekly, biweekly, once a month, and deep cleaning services. For you and your family’s protection we are fully licensed, bonded and insured.
Kathleen’s Cleaning Service is very detailed oriented and we are dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction. Our work is 100% guaranteed. If you are not fully satisfied for any reason, call us within 24 hours and we will come back and redo the work.
Our guarantee: We strive hard to provide the best service possible. However, it is simply not possible to be 100% perfect 100% of the time. Therefore, should we miss anything, please call us within 24 hours and we will be happy to come back and redo any areas missed. Communication is highly valuable and appreciated as it makes us better at our jobs!
Supplies: We provide all cleaning supplies and equipment and use color coded microfiber towels to ensure the avoidance of cross contamination. If you have a particular product you prefer us to use, just set it out on the kitchen counter and we will be happy to use your product(s) instead. To further limit the possibility of cross contamination, we ask the homeowner to provide a roll of paper towels to be used on the toilets.
Your Cleaner: Due to vacations, sick days, promotions ect., we cannot guarantee the same cleaner each visit. However, we do strive to maintain as much consistency as possible. We keep detailed notes of client’s preferences and particulars and review those notes with the cleaning technician(s) prior to each visit. Should you not have your "regular" cleaner, you will most likely not notice a difference.
Closed Doors: Please close all doors to rooms you do not want cleaned and leave all doors open to areas you would like cleaned. Our cleaning technicians are trained to not enter rooms with doors closed.
Payment: Payment is due by cash, check or credit card in full on the day of your service. Check or cash should be left on the kitchen counter. Credit card payments can be paid online. Checks can be made out to Kathleen’s Cleaning Service. A $25 fee will be charged for each NSF check returned by the bank.
Scheduling Changes: We do our best to stick to our schedule. However, occasionally a change is necessary. We will let you know as soon as possible of any changes. Should you require a scheduling change we ask that you call us at (804)-729-7401 rather than rescheduling through your cleaning technician.
Late Cancellation/Lock out/Turn Away: We require 24 hour advanced notice for any cancellations. If we do not receive a call within 24 hours of your cleaning time and are locked out or turned away at the door, you will be charged $35. The best way to prevent this from happening is to keep a key in a discreet place. We allocate a block of time to clean your home, which cannot be filled if a last minute cancellation occurs.
Arrival Time: We schedule our cleanings in an order that requires the least amount of driving in order to maintain our prices and avoid trip fees. If you require an AM or PM cleaning time, we will make every effort to work within your schedule, however, no specific times can be guaranteed.
Breakage/Damage: If you have something that is priceless and/or irreplaceable, we ask that you please put it away somewhere safe. It is rare, but occasionally something gets broken. Your cleaning technicians will let us know of any breakage/damage right away and leave you a note if any breakage/damage occurs. Please be aware that there is $100 replacement fee limit per item and we must be informed of any requests to cover breakage/damage within 24 hours of your service.
Valuables: If you have items in your home that are invaluable, we ask that you put them away somewhere. We do not open any doors, including cabinet doors, book cases, curios, etc. If your valuables are behind closed doors we will not touch them.
Pets: Our cleaning technicians are all pet friendly. However, if you have a pet that is even slightly aggressive, we ask that the pet be confined to an area your cleaning technician does not have to enter. Also, due to potential health risks, we do not clean litter boxes, urine or feces.
Extra Needs: If you have any extra needs not included in your regular service, please call us to ensure we have the necessary time to complete your requests.
