While we make every effort to send the same cleaning associate(s) for every visit, due to vacations, illnesses, promotions, etc., that is not always possible. However, all of our cleaning associates are highly skilled and trained to complete a thorough and detailed clean in every home.
While initial cleanings are often scheduled on another day to allow more time for a deep cleaning, you will be scheduled for a “regular” cleaning day on each recurring visit. We schedule our appointments in an order that results in the least amount of drive time in order to keep our prices reasonable and avoid trip fees, therefore no exact times can be guaranteed. If you prefer an AM or PM cleaning, we will make our best effort to accommodate those requests.
The better your home is picked up, the better job our cleaning associates can do for you. If you are unable to get things picked up or have projects going on that cause you to be unable to be as ready for us as normal, we will do our best to clean and work around those areas. Please realize, that we do not move furniture to clean behind. Should you require us to “pick-up” things (toys, clothes, etc.) we can do so for an additional charge. Please call our office for pricing.
Please close the door to any rooms you to not wish to have cleaned. Likewise, please keep all doors open to those rooms you would like cleaned. Our cleaning associates are trained not to enter rooms if doors are closed.
Our services are very thorough and we pay extra attention to the small details. While we strive for perfection on each and every visit, understandably it is not always possible to be 100% perfect 100% of the time. Should something get missed, please call us within 24 hours and we will come back and correct the issue and no additional charge to you.
We provide all cleaning supplies and equipment and use color coded microfiber towels to ensure the avoidance of cross contamination. If you have a particular product you prefer us to use, just set it out on the kitchen counter and we will be happy to use your product(s) instead.
We understand that sometimes things come up that conflict with your cleaning appointment. Please allow 24 hours notice for any cancellations. If we do not receive a phone call/text 24 hours prior to your scheduled time, you may be charged up to the full amount of your scheduled cleaning. Please note, we charge a $25 lock out fee should we be unable to access your home on the day of your scheduled cleaning.
Payment is due in full on the day of your service. Please leave checks on the kitchen counter and make payable to Kathleen’s Cleaning Service. We also accept credit card payments. There is a 3% credit processing fee incurred for each credit card transaction.
Gratuities are graciously accepted and left to the homeowner’s discretion.
Pets are no problem for us! However, if you have a dog that is the least bit aggressive, please contain it somewhere in the house and let us know not to enter that area. Due to potential health risks, we do not clean litter boxes, urine or feces.
